Shaw's Carpets was started by Russ and Joyce Shaw in February, 1967. Russ had been installing carpeting for five years and was considered a quick learner and a great installer. Joyce had success in business book- keeping as an office manager for a company in Culpeper County. They moved to Woodbridge, Va. and there Shaw's Carpets was born, opening their first location in Woodbridge and then Dale City, Va. Russ and Joyce expanded their operations in the late 80's opening their Fredericksburg location which has a large warehouse, business offices and a beautiful and spacious showroom. 
Even though their name says "Carpets", they specialize in hardwood, luxury vinyl tile & plank, laminate flooring, vinyl tile and floorings. Shaw's also offers "repair" services to your present, perhaps "old" flooring; for which, we offer estimates to make sure it can, in fact, be repaired. Shaw's has its own "in-house" installers, so that you call/contact "One Place" to Buy, Get an Estimate, have it Installed or have it Repaired. We also "still" offer free estimates and can bring samples of interest to your home/and or business. If that doesn't work, we have a showroom full of samples that you can browse to find your perfect floor. There is no obligation to buy until "you" say "this is what I want, and I would like to place an order."
